Join us online to explore how AI is shaking up the built world and changing the way we work!

CIBSE East Midlands

AI is no longer simply a standalone tool we open on our desktops. It is increasingly becoming part of how work moves through an organisation—from initial research and complex analysis through to critical decision-making and final delivery.

In this session, Georgi Iliev will share practical examples of organisations that are actively redesigning their workflows around AI, while posing one important question for our industry:

If we built our organisations today, with AI available from day one, would we design work in the same way?

The session will explore:

  • The complete AI workflow: What AI can now do across an entire project lifecycle.
  • Beyond the hype: How organisations can move from isolated experimentation to meaningful, structural transformation.
  • Lessons from the frontline: Practical insights from SMEs already using AI to solve real-world business challenges.
  • The future of operations: What day-to-day working could look like in the near future.
  • Impact on the built environment: What this fundamental shift could mean for professionals working across our sector.
